Results vary for each individual, depending on factors such as the depth of staining and your natural enamel tone. 
Most clients typically see a lift of at least three shades in a single session. 
While whitening treatments can significantly brighten your smile, they cannot lighten teeth beyond your original natural shade.

Results usually last for up to 6 to 9 months with appropriate maintenance, though longevity can be influenced by factors such as diet, lifestyle, and genetic predisposition.

Is this treatment safe?

Yes, we use a peroxide-free gel for this treatment. 
However, it is not recommended for individuals under 18 years old, those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, individuals with epilepsy, or anyone with untreated dental conditions.

Are there any side effects?

While sensitivity is uncommon with our premium, gentle whitening gel, individuals with existing tooth sensitivity, cracked teeth, or leakage from faulty restorations may experience mild sensitivity. This typically resolves within 1 to 3 days.

To minimise sensitivity, we recommend using Sensodyne toothpaste for two weeks prior to your appointment and taking an over-the-counter pain reliever, such as Panadol, before treatment.

What is the White Diet?

Your teeth contain tiny pores which absorb colour. After whitening, these pores can stay open for up to 3 days, so it is vital that you are careful not to consume any coloured substances.

A 'White Diet' must be followed for a minimum of 48 hours following your appointment. This means it is prohibited to smoke or consume anything acidic / any dark coloured food / drink.

Examples of what you may consume: milk, water, bread, cheese, pasta with white sauce, colourless cereal such as Weetabix / Cornflakes, Rice Krispies, banana, salmon, white fish, boiled rice etc.

When is a top-up session recommended?

If you would like to lift your shade as much as possible, we recommend a top up after 4-6 weeks.

If you would like to maintain the shade we have achieved in the first session, we recommend to top up between 3-6 months.

Am I a suitable candidate for this treatment?
